The Tragic Tale of Bark Scruffalo is my first hobby game. My goal was to learn Game Maker Language enough to produce a finished project, and make a simple but fun game in under one month's time. In the end, it took closer to 2 months to finish the game, but the journey was fun and I learned a tremendous amount along the way.
I was really blown away by the reception of the game. A lot more people downloaded it than I was expecting. I received a lot of praise and feedback in my itch.io comments, and others shared youtube videos of them playing the game. Bark Scruffalo was also featured on several gaming focused sites like indiegames.com as well as in PC Gamer's free games of the week.
